What is your style?

Posted on Posted in fashion

The personal style in the way we dress is both a way of communicating with others, but also one through self-expression. Our choices unconsciously mirror our inner world and influence the way everyone thinks of us.

Dressing is a unique and everyday way of expressing ourselves. Even when we think we wear something with no further thoughts, we actually wear what expresses our mental state at that moment. The choice of any cloth expresses our mental state at the moment of its choice, while our style is directly related to our personality. The personal style in our clothes expresses and confirms the uniqueness of our personality. Sometimes, however, we show something different from what we really are, maybe something that we think we are or something we would like to be.

A closer look at your wardrobe will convince you that every piece of clothing you have on it has something of you. Your dressing options tell a lot about personality, character, but also the way you want the others to see you. According to the color psychology, for example, when your wardrobe is full of black clothes, then you are definitely not the most social, approachable and open guy! On the other hand, when colors are bright, it simply means that you are open, social and optimistic. When you are still obsessed with a particular color, it signifies something for you that depend on the color of choice. Generally the dark clothes though are clothes of power, mystery and professionalism. In daily dressing they give a negative feeling, lack of inspiration, liveliness, show insecurity and aggression.

On the contrary, bright clothes have exactly the opposite effect, suggesting vitality, optimism, purity and giving a sense of approachable and friendly person. More specifically, red is the color of the capacity, the passion, the heart and the self-esteem, the blue color of the spirit and the sky, the yellow of energy and creativity, the green of hope and tranquility and the blue of certainty and trust.

Let’s now see what our style represents about our personality.

CONVENTIONAL STYLE

If you prefer simple but careful dressing without peculiarities and patterns with no bright colors, then you are probably introverted. You like not to challenge, not to stand out, not to comment, and to live simply and discreetly. Your image is rigorous, measured. It does not give you much information about you and lets you live impersonal in your peace. You may be a bit shy.

ECCENTRIC STYLE

If you are a fashionista and you like to dress up like a star and show an exclusive obsession with expensive brand name clothing, and your denim kjole is one of a kind, then you definitely love to work with each other and be at the center of attention. You like to live loudly and in passion. You are very interested in the way the others see you. Your image shows someone who wants to seem successful, but somewhere inside you is an internal insecurity. Your …

When you combine mesh tights with the thigh-highs you will get an amazing look. There is something about this combination that makes thicker legs look sexy and awesome. It is also a styling trick that is ideal for the season.

Do Not Hide Your Curves

Many curvy women try to hide their curves with oversized clothing, but some of these women do not realize that this actually makes them look bigger than they are. When you embrace your curves, you will find that your clothing will actually be more flattering.

Do Not Skimp On Tailoring

You might not realize that tailoring is relatively inexpensive, but it will have a major impact on the way that your clothing fits you. Tailoring can make the difference between your outfit looking sloppy or frumpy and being completely put together.

Look At Subtle Accessorising

You should never feel that you have to hide yourself with baubles to feel beautiful. You should look at a fun and outsized print instead. Hats and fascinators are also a fun accessory and they can help you pull off that bold look that you are going for.

The beach is an ideal place to hang out and work on my tan, for about half an hour, then, I’ve tanned all I need and it’s time for me to move on. Since I seem to tan so quickly, I want to get on with my day and that means that there is far more than just the beach.

Beach Wear

When it comes to beachwear, there’s more than just bikinis and of course, rompers. I myself prefer beach dresses and skirts. They’re cool and comfortable and stay with the outdoorsy theme. Of course, there are times that swimsuits are a must, however, you can also opt for other cute beachwear and go above and beyond the swimsuit or the romper for that matter.

When I pack for my beach vacation, I look for things that will be comfortable and stylish. I want to look great whether I’m on the beach, or off. Off the shoulder, styles are great fun and I really like them. I can pair these with skirts or dresses and look great. There are some days where I’m not spending my entire day playing in the sand.

I took photos in South Beach Miami and loved the afternoon I had. After I took these photos I took a walk on the empty beach. It was fun to explore and capture some great shots of the city from a different angle. I wore a nice spaghetti strap dress and ankle strap style sandals. I added some funky jewellery for a taste all my own. It was comfortable and fun.

Beach Fashion

I love to elevate my fashion style and here’s how I do it.

  • Sandals

I always bring sandals. I can wear them with just about anything. I try to focus on what all I’ll be doing and have a few different pair for different outfits. It’s important that they’re comfortable as I’ll be doing a lot of walking.

  • Jewellery

I don’t add a lot of sparkly jewellery. I choose things that are very natural and fit the scene. Beads and beachy colours work well and I love things that look natural like leaves and branches.

  • Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a must-have item. I have several pairs. I can use them to hide my eyes if I’m tired or overdoing it. I can use them if I choose to not wear makeup. They add a flash to my style and look great no matter what I’m doing.

  • Dresses

I am not into the teeny tiny bikini. I’d rather wear something with a bit more fabric. However, to each their own. I choose more reserved clothing items such as caftans, coverups and fun dresses that have a bit of style. I can wear them with a swimsuit or alone and still look fantastic. Dresses are the ideal choice and I love to mix and match my accessories.

  • Shorts

For those who dislike dresses, choose separates like chinos or fun beach tops. JC Crew …
