Donatella Versace says Britney Spears is ‘in an amazing state of mind’… after fashion designer met with pop star to create her wedding dress for nuptials to fiance Sam Asghari

Donatella Versace admitted Britney Spears is feeling better than ever as the pop princess gears up to marry the man of her dreams — in the finest fashions, no less.

The legendary designer — who was tapped last year to create Britney’s wedding dress after she became a fiancee once again when Sam Asghari proposed with a sparkling diamond ring — told Variety that she’s reconnected with Spears through the design process.

‘She’s on vacation now,’ Versace said. ‘She’s doing well. I find her in an amazing state of mind. I know it’s been such a long time. I’m very happy to see her like that.’

Fans were overjoyed to see Donatella make a surprise appearance on Britney’s Instagram account just weeks ago when she dropped by her Lake Sherwood home, likely for a fitting for the dreamy gown.

‘Look who came to visit … these 2 bad b***hes are up to no good,’ Britney captioned a few snaps with her longtime friend.

Sam, 28, jumped into a few shots with the ladies, with Donatella writing: ‘Yessssss!!!! Definitely up to noooooo good! love you both.’

Sam proposed to Spears in September after nearly five years of dating with a $70,000, four carat BeSpoke Forever Diamonds sparkler with a platinum cathedral setting and floating solitaire design.

The gorgeous bauble also featured Sam’s pet name for the superstar, ‘lioness’, engraved in the band.

Sam and Britney first came into each other’s orbit in October 2016, when she starred with the Iran-born actor in her Slumber Party video, and they made their relationship Instagram official in January 2017.

She revealed on Instagram in since-deleted posts shared in November that she selected Donatella to make her wedding dress.

This will mark Britney’s third marriage, with the star first tying the knot with Jason Alexander in 2004 — with no prenup in place — before marrying Kevin Federline that same year, but with a 60-page prenuptial agreement.

Spears’ controversial 13-year conservatorship ended on Nov. 12 after years where her father, Jamie Spears, controlled every aspect of her life including financial and personal matters.

The court order was put into place after Britney suffered multiple mental health break downs beginning in 2007.

The Circus singer is currently suing her father and claimed that he took more than $6 million from her during the conservatorship, according to NBC News.

Spears is also in the process of writing a tell-all memoir about her life and the conservatorship.
