Jennifer Lopez stuns in makeup-free video, says she’s never had Botox as she launches beauty line

Jennifer Lopez is adding yet another title to her resume: beauty mogul.

The 51-year-old singer-dancer-actress-model announced on Wednesday night that she’s launching a beauty brand, simply called JLo Beauty.

To announce the venture, Lopez shared a video on social media, showing off her fresh, makeup-free face in order to plug a facemask.

“Oh my God, this is the best mask that I’ve ever, ever tried,” she gushed in the clip.

After “years” of being asked about her skincare routine, JLo said she felt “almost an obligation” to release products.

In the Instagram clip, it’s revealed that olive oil plays a big role in the line, as she feels it brings about a “natural glow.”

Fans gushed over the clip in the comments, calling Lopez a “timeless beauty,” “so pretty” and more.

Known for her ageless beauty, fans may be surprised to learn that the “Hustlers” star hasn’t “ever had Botox to this day,” per Elle.

The star said that a dermatologist pointed out a “little line” on her skin and suggested she start botox at just 23 years old. Her boyfriend at the time agreed, but Lopez refused.

“I was like, ‘no, thank you.’ And I just wonder what would’ve happened to me if I would’ve started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now,” said the singer. “My face would be a totally different face today.”

Of choosing to opt out of Botox, Lopez explained, according to Page Six: “I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare … but I want [my products] to work. I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point.”

“One of the big things I would encourage everybody to do from the time they’re 15 years old, even younger, is wear sunscreen every day,” said Lopez. “That’s a big skincare secret that people kind of do but don’t do. They use moisturizers, but they don’t put on sunscreen every day. That is something I have done from that time I was 22 years old.”

Paris Hilton on Her New Coach Campaign, the Return of Y2K Style, and What She’s Doing for the Holidays

Since your campaign is very 2000s-inspired, what do you think is the key to pulling off Y2K style today?

It’s really about just being as extra as possible. With social media, it’s really important to have exciting pieces that are going to be really beautiful visually, in a photo or on Snapchat or TikTok. With fashion right now, people just want to show off what they have in their content, so it’s important to wear something that will grab your eye and attention.

This is a holiday campaign, so what do you think you’ll be doing for the holidays this year?

Every single year, my sister and I usually throw a huge Christmas party at my house. It’s called ‘Holidaze with the Hiltons.’ It’s the most epic, crazy party every year. Hundreds of people come and there’s amazing performances. It’s sick. And then two days later, we will host my parents’s Christmas party with them at their house, which is obviously a lot more chill. But with the pandemic, we’re not going to be doing that. This will be the first year that I’m not having a Christmas party in I don’t even know how long, which is sad, but obviously it wouldn’t be appropriate to throw a big Christmas bash. I spent last Christmas with my boyfriend’s family: We went to Michigan and then to Yellowstone to go skiing. So this year, we’re trying to decide if we’re going to go to Michigan, or maybe go to an island or on a boat somewhere.

Are you big on holiday dressing in general? Do you plan on getting festive, even if you’re at home?

Yes, I love it. I always love to wear something festive in bright red or in velvet—something really beautiful that stands out. I also always get a Mrs. Claus outfit made, and I usually wear it when I go to the L.A. Mission, a homeless shelter downtown. I bring gifts and food for all the kids and people that are there. If I have my Christmas parties, in the beginning I’ll wear a really beautiful sparkly holiday dress, and then I’ll change into a sexier Santa outfit. And I dress up all the dogs, too. I just ordered a bunch of Santa and elf costumes for them on Petco this weekend, and all these crazy decorations. I like to decorate their doggie mansion and give them a tiny little Christmas tree.

I’m also used to hosting the most incredible New Year’s Eve parties every single year in Miami, Australia, Vegas, New York—wherever I am. I’ve been doing that forever, and this year will be the first year that I’m not hosting something. But I’ll still dress up, because it’s New Year’s Eve, and I love collecting memories with photos and videos. I’ll be capturing the memories of my boyfriend and I’s second Christmas and New Year’s together.

Sharon Stone shows off legs in black lingerie, says she’s ‘astounded’ to model at 62

At 62, Sharon Stone’s modeling career is flourishing and she’s grateful for every minute of it.

On Friday, the Basic Instinct star shared a photo of herself wearing a black bodysuit that showed off her long legs and décolletage while perched on a couch under a portrait of Marilyn Monroe.

“My friend and brilliant stylist @paris_libby sent me this today,” she captioned the photo. “I am not only astounded but grateful that I am still modeling at 62, La Dolce Vita.Thx to everyone who hired me this year.”

In addition to starring in hit films like Casino and Sliver, Stone has graced many magazine covers and earlier in her career, fronted hair and beauty campaigns.

But the star, who recently called BS on the cliché “Looks don’t matter” calling it “a big, fat, stupid lie” in an interview with the Guardian, is more concerned with public health. In November, Stone and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the Institutes for Allergies and Infectious Disease, were honored at the virtual Research in Action Awards. There, Stone was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in AIDS Advocacy — one of the actress’s numerous accolades for her philanthropy work.

This year, after Stone’s little sister Kelly Stone Singer and her husband tested positive for COVID-19, the star wrote a social media post lashing out at those who don’t wear face masks, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention deem critical to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The couple later tested negative for the virus.

However, one subject that doesn’t earn Stone’s attention is love. In December, the mother-of-three revealed that her Bumble dating profile had been suspended when users reported it for being fake. However, the issue was quickly revolved and as the app later tweeted, “Looks like our users thought you were too good to be true.”

The actress, who was married twice (first to producer Michael Greenburg whom she separated in 1987, then to journalist Phil Bronstein, whom she divorced in 2004) recently threw in the towel. “I’m done dating. I’ve had it with dating,” she told Drew Barrymore in Oct. on the actress’s daytime talk show. “I don’t want any insincerity and baloney and game-playing.”

Sharon Stone’s still got it.

She continues to land projects in front of the camera in her 60s, and the star recently reflected on her longstanding career.

“I am not only astounded but grateful that I am still modeling at 62, La Dolce Vita, Thx to everyone who hired me this year,” she captioned a photo of herself on Instagram.

She accessorized the bodysuit with a silk, patterned button-down shirt.

Debra Messing called Stone “gorgeous,” while supermodel Naomi Campbell supported her look with hearts and fire emojis.

Stone isn’t one to shy away from discussing her age. Last month, she got candid about her celebrity status with Closer Weekly and touched on her love life, which she referred to as “a comedy.”

The star was infamously kicked off the dating app Bumble last year because no one believed it was really her.

“I wish I’d stayed kicked off it!” she told the magazine.

Stone, who is a proud mom to three sons, said she has a more relaxed approached to dating now that’s she’s older.

“I think you have to choose how you want to age,” she explained in the outlet’s new issue currently on newsstands. “I’m sure that I have my own destiny, and I’m now trying to meet it with as much integrity as I can, and be as open to growth as I can be.”

As for being a sex symbol, Stone is aware it’s a title she will always carry.
