Washington State Vintners Step Up With Holiday Gift Packages

As the Northwest adjusts to new pandemic-driven restrictions in the hopes of slowing the number of COVID-19 cases, Washington state wine producers have put together some VIP gift packages designed to deliver some holiday cheer.

Here are some spirited options for the fermented grape fan on your shopping list.

  • L’Ecole No. 41 is packaging wine and coffee with their “Walla Walla Rise, Shine and Wine” combo. That includes two bottles of L’Ecole No. 41 current releases, Walla Walla Roastery whole bean coffee and a branded tumbler.
  • Chateau Ste. Michelle “Sparkling Celebration Box”  brings togethe everything you need to create your own sparkling wine cocktails.
  • Browne Family Vineyards is offering a couple different packages:

  • Time & Direction Wine is offering a Holiday Survival 3-pack of reds with free shipping. 
  • The Walls has come up with a novel way of tasting at home, with kits of five ounce bottles of five wines for $50, which can sent to friends and family for a private virtual tasting. 
  • Pepper Bridge Winery is rolling out the unique a Founders Pack, which includes a 30-minute private zoom call with Norm McKibben, during which you can quiz the groundbreaking producer about the vertical of Cabernet and Merlot in this special gift.
  • Sparkman Cellars created a variety of gifts that showcase its extensive lineup of wine partnered with local goodies like smoked salmon and Theo Chocolate.

Virtual Holiday Auction

The Auction of Washington Wine has just launched its holiday edition online with bids accepted on a massive collection of library selections, magnums and more from some of the state’s most prestigious producers. New items are added regularly and proceeds from this virtual event benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Washington State University Viticulture and Enology Research.
